Everything you meant to remember.
A calm notes app for Windows. Build your own tree of notes, catch a thought before it slips, and keep every word on your own computer.
Windows 10 and 11. No account, nothing to sign in to.
What it does
A place for thoughts, arranged your way.
-
Your own tree
Folders inside folders, and notes that never need a home. Benome never files anything for you.
-
Catch it before it slips
A quick note sits at the foot of the tree. It lands in the folder you have open, or stays loose until you decide.
-
Dictation that stays here
Speak, and the words appear each time you pause. A speech model on your own computer does the listening.
-
Find anything
Search every note by word, tag, or when you wrote it, in a panel beside the note you are reading.
-
A copy that opens without Benome
Your notes are mirrored as plain files to a folder you choose, kept up to date on their own.
-
Read at your size
Text from 80 to 200 percent, the column widening with it. Print a single note, clean.
Private by design
Your notes live on your computer. Nowhere else.
There is no account and no server behind Benome. Nothing you write is uploaded, counted, or read by anyone but you.
Read the privacy policy- No account. Open the app and write. There is nothing to sign up for.
- No tracking. No analytics, no ads, no crash reports sent home.
- Your voice stays here. Dictation is heard on your computer. Audio is never saved or sent.
- Plain files. Your copy is ordinary pages and images in a folder. Leaving Benome takes nothing.
Start with one thought.
Benome is on its way to Microsoft Store. Questions in the meantime are welcome.
